This tour includes visits to the important landmarks and monuments of New Delhi including Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage site said to be the motivation behind the 'wonder of the world' the Taj Mahal. Drive past the India Gate, a free-standing, 42 metre high arch, built in 1931 as a war memorial in the memory of the 90,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died in World War I. Take a photostop outside the Rashtrapati Bhavan (President’s House) the official residence of the President of the India. A highlight will be a visit to the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib – Delhi's largest Sikh temple. Later visit the Qutub Minar, a 72 meter high minaret built in 1199 AD.

Agra – Located on the western bank of the Yamuna River, the city of Agra, founded in 1504 by Sultan Sikander Lodi, was besieged in 1526 by Babur the first Mughal Emperor. During the mid 16th and 17th centuries Agra, by now the Mughal capital, witnessed a remarkable spate of expansion and architectural development as each successive emperor tried to outdo the last.

Afternoon, visit Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh

Visit the Agra Fort, the huge red sandstone Fort on the bank of Yamuna River, built in 1565 AD. The Fort houses a number of attractive buildings including Samman Burj, where Shah Jahan was imprisoned by his son, Moti Masjid, a white marble mosque, Diwan-e-Am, Diwan-e-Khas, Jahangir’s Palace, Khaas Mahal and Shish Mahal.

Mehtab Bagh is situated on the sandy bank of Yamuna River just opposite the Taj Mahal mausoleum. The place is an ideal spot as it provides picturesque view of Taj Mahal.

Start your day very early with a sunrise visit to the Taj Mahal, where you get a chance to see the Taj Mahal in a new light, as well as in a less crowded environment. Located just 35 kms. from Agra is Fatehpur Sikri, another world heritage site, said to be the deserted capital of Emperor Akbar. This city was built in the 16th century and was abandoned after 12 years due to the paucity of water. The entire city is still intact, and a sight of this city is worth remembering. The Buland Darwaza is the main entrance to this city. It is 54 m tall. This gate was constructed in the honor of Akbar’s victory in Gujarat.

Early morning, enjoy game drive in Ranthambore National Park by an exclusive jeep

Ranthambore National Park was Rajasthan's first Project Tiger reserve and is named after the 1,000-year-old fort that stands inside the park. The park, which was formerly the Maharaja’s hunting ground, covers an area of 1,334sq km. The main draw is the chance of sighting one of the Royal Bengal Tigers in the park; however, it is also home to the sambar, largest of all Asiatic deer. There is a considerable number of bird species and these include the rare red jungle fowl and varieties of eagles.

Jaipur – Popularly known as the Pink City, Jaipur (City of Victory) is the state capital and largest city of Rajasthan. It was founded by Sawai Jai Singh II in 1727 and was planned according to Indian ‘Vastu Shastra’ principles. A fortification wall was built around the city with 7 gates for entry. Originally, the buildings were painted in a variety of colours but in 1853 when Prince Albert visited, the old city was painted pink, a traditional colour of welcome. It has remained pink ever since.

Explore the ‘Pink City’, the bustling metropolis that is Rajasthan’s capital, seeing the Observatory and the City Palace

Visit the Jantar Mantar, an 18th century stone observatory, the City Palace, still the home of the former royalty H.H Bhawani Singh Ji of Jaipur and housing an extensive collection of art, carpets and old weapons as well as a photostop at the Hawa Mahal, (literally translated to Palace of Winds), the facade of which is all pink windows and filigree screens and is one of Jaipur’s most photographed landmarks.

Royal Splendour is a specially conducted tour of City Palace which gives visitors exclusive access to see the inner quarters and private rooms in Chandra Mahal, with a personal guide of the Palace.

Swapna Mahal means the Palace of Dreams. The double height ceiling has breathtaking majestic crystal chandeliers and panels of silk curtains will take you to the dream world. Ranakpur, in the heart of the stunning Aravalli Hills is one of 05 holy Jain sites and is a popular pilgrimage centre. The temples of Ranakpur were built in the 15th century and are beautifully crafted and well preserved. One of the biggest and most important Jain temple complexes in India, the site is dominated by the Adinath Temple, which is supported by 1,444 exquisitely carved pillars.

Jag Niwas was built as the summer residence of Prince of Mewar and is now the famous Lake Palace hotel.

Morning city tour of Udaipur

The half day tour of the lake city of Udaipur begins with a visit to the City Palace, the biggest palace complex in Rajasthan, towering above the Lake Pichola. The Palace houses a museum with an enormous collection of glass, ceramic figures and small canvases. Also visit the Jagdish Temple, a fine Indo-Aryan Temple constructed by Maharana Jagat Singh in 1651. This temple treasures a black stone image of Lord Vishnu as Jagannath, Lord of the universe. A brass image of Garuda the Hindu divinity is in a monument in front of the temple. The next stop would be the Saheliyon Ki Bari, or the garden of the Maids of Honor. It is a small exquisite garden with fountains, stone elephants and a beautiful lotus pond. Housed in the Fateh Prakash Palace is the Crystal Gallery, the largest private collection of crystal in the world.

Afternoon, meet a master artisan of Miniature paintings

Learn about Rajasthan’s unique tradition of miniature painting from the professional artists at the Mewar School of Art. See if you can find the perfect souvenir, or try creating a piece of your own; akin to those that traditionally adorned the walls of Rajasthani palaces, forts and haveli mansions. From dramatic landscapes to events from epic tales, and more.

Later this evening, visit the home of Major Durgadas and his wife for a cooking demonstration and see what all the excitement about Rajasthani cuisine is about!

During this interactive demo, you'll watch a culinary demonstration, enjoy tastings of the items prepared, and take home the recipes. End the evening with a gourmet dinner Your hosts for dinner (and the cooking demonstration) would be Major Durga Das and his wife Ms. Jyoti Jasol. They both hail from very traditional and well-educated families of the Mewar and Marwar regions of India. Their home is perched on a hill offering spectacular 360-degree views of the Aravalli hills and the town of Udaipur and a 400-year-old Temple.
